On Monday, May 23rd, 2016, Campus Concerts performed for YOKA's music students. The woodwind quintet held two concerts, one for 6th grade music students and a second performance for the Guitorchestra and Band students.
The quintet not only performed recognizable and lovable pieces but also discussed the history and science behind their instruments, flute clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and French horn. The flutist demonstrated a piccolo and bass flute. The oboist also demonstrated an English horn. The French horn player brought a garden hose and funnel to make a makeshift horn.
The students got to participate in a sing-along at the end to Sponge Bob Square Pants!
