Students saw first hand how a world-class orchestra rehearses. They saw the etiquette that members have when the Maestro was in front of them. Students also saw the little things that the LA PHIL does in between pieces; members were at their ready position, some jotted notes in their music.
Studnets also noticed that before Maestro Dudamel took the podium, all of the orchestra was running individual sections and then silence.
After the rehearsal students enjoyed lunch on the grounds of the Hall. They returned to YOKA inspired to take their rehearsals to the next level! Thank you to the LA Phil for inviting us!
